My Thoughts
This is not a book review site - it started that way, I conceptualise this blog that way but I found that I can't separate my feelings from my writings. I can't be objective about a book.
Reading has been my main hobby cultivated for almost 4 decades. I read for pleasure and experience. This blog is where I pour my thoughts and feelings in that experience.

It Started with a Kiss by Melanie Moreland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A bit predictable. The first few chapters of this book will tell you of the eventual outcome, the girl gets the boy and they live happily every after. You would also discern that it might be an unlikely match but perfect nonetheless. But that’s what we want as readers who would pick up this kind of books. You would like to read on because you know there are juicy details albeit, mushy sometimes.
There are a lot of intimate scenes between the main characters and I thought, this whole book is centred to both of them. A few external forces and outside relationships and social interactions are peppered in, such in-laws, parents and a best friend. This book has the quintessential elements and characters of a family-oriented story.
It also has a bitter sweet scene which for me is highly relevant to a successful love story. There has to be some suffering in the midst of the lovey-dovey scenes.
This book will leave you highly satisfied especially the ending, it is extended to the max.
